Duties of the Judge Advocate:

The Judge Advocate shall be thoroughly familiar with the National bylaws, Department of Maryland bylaws, and Detachment bylaws. The Judge Advocate shall be familiar with the Marine Corps League Ritual and Roberts Rules of Order (most recent edition). The Judge Advocate shall be the main adviser to the Detachment officers and General Membership regarding the interpretation of the bylaws stated above.
